Just as the Kyoryugers have their sidearm blade, Kyoryu Gold has his trusty Zandar Thunder, a longer katana like weapon Utsusemimaru wields on his back. The weapon is shaped like the beak of a pteranodon. With no Zyudenchi inserted, you hear a simple shimasen sound. Insert one Zyudenchi to hear “Zan!” in two different tones. Insert two Zyudenchi to hear “Zandar!” Finally insert all three and pull the lever to hear “Zandar Thunder!” and a large attack sound. The toy doesn’t directly read the Zyudenchi, but instead moves a lever that hits buttons to show how many Zyudenchi are inserted. The toy itself is really large and makes a great addition to your Kyoryuger arsenal.

While not necessary to play with the toy, multiple Zyudenchi are recommended to maximize play value of the toy.
